Description
The police force of Neo Miami is not authorized to carry lethal weapons; instead they are issued electroshock gauntlets which were made standard on earth. The gauntlets fire an independent electroshock device, allowing them to fire at a range of up to 90 meters.
The gauntlet comes with an automatic targeting system that notifies the user of the target distance and position. Additionally, the gauntlet allows the user to directly interact with it through an on-board touch screen. This allows the user to run diagnostics check the ammo count, and enable or disable the weapon’s safety.
Electroshock gauntlets have an automatic lock-out feature on removal, making sure that if a weapon is taken from its owner, the weapon’s safety turns on. When the gauntlet is put on, a biometric sample is required to confirm that it is the owner of the weapon.
